Elton ticket rage

Lots of people furious with the Elton John/Ticketmaster fiasco. Over 11 thousand tickets snapped up in 4 minutes with most fans left empty handed. I don't necessarily have a problem with the way ticketmaster sells tickets. It is the new millinium after all and we must eventually embrace technology, right? My problem is with the people who are in it to make a quick buck. Want Elton tickets? Go go eBay...scalpers are asking upwards of $1400 a pair. That makes me sick. That's almost as disgusting as the Verne Troyer sex tape. Were you lucky enough to get tickets or did you get shut out like me? For those who did not get tickets, will you buy them for a stupidly over-inflated price? Thoughts?

There is a trick with getting tickets to shows like these:
Simply wait about a month or so to pass and then start looking for tickets via ticketmaster.com again.
Alot of people who reserved tickets will not have submitted payment for them and they will go back out for grabs again but like I said you have to wait and you have to check constantly. This is how I got tickets to the Rolling Stones and Bon Jovi. Also with people on Ebay, the prices will go down once they realize that no one is going to pay 1400$ to see Elton John, as great as an artist as he is, he isn't worth that price tag! There's still hope :D

It pissess me off that people need to make a buck while fans who can't afford to pay $1000 for tickets are left with nothing. Don't buy from the scalpers yet...I heard that there will be more tickets sold on the day of the shows. There's still hope!

I feel the same way... no im not going to buy tickets at insane prices... let them be stuck with a bunch of tickets and be in the hole because they were greedy... I would love to see him but nope... some people got to spoil all the fun because they're to worried about themselves... but what can you do? It's rediculous.
