New Hockey Night In Canada Song!!!

The NHL theme now belongs to CTV, that means CBC is searching for a new Hockey Night In Canada song. CBC took over 15-thousand applicants from across Canada and the winner is...Colin Oberst, a music teacher from Alberta...
Colin beat out tons of pro musicians including Randy Bachman. I voted for him...I love the bagpipes from the "Mudmen". Colin gets One Hundred Grand plus royaties! Game on!
I still think they should of used Stompin' Tom's "The Hockey Song"
I totally agree with Buzz.
I totally agree with Buzz. Instead of always making or getting people to make a theme song for CBC, the should go and get a hockey song from the past. Some people might enjoy listening to old hockey songs and not newer songs all the time. It seems that nobody in Canada really gets to say what they want as there hockey song. Now that the NHL theme is with TSN more people will watch NHL on TSN and less on CBC.
