Is It Okay To Be A Cocky Candain?

CC's picture

I'm proud that the world sees us a polite, humble nation...BUT...not all the time. You know what I want to see? I want see some Olympic moments where Canadains are on the podium fist pumping, jumping up and down, doing some chest pounding, pointing to the heavens and blowing a kiss skyward...I want to see some Emotion!!!...We are looked upon as the humble, quiet country, the conservative Canadians that show little or no emtion, that only say "please" and "thank you"...a great reputation to have...but its OUR Olympics in OUR country.Let the medal winning Olympians be a little cocky...At times during these games the silver and bronze medalists are showing more excitement and enthusiasm then the Gold medal winning Canadians. Would you be okay with a little bit more podium celebrating, a fist pump, a chest pound...Come on Canada lets be Cocky, I say its okay to let the Olympic champions go wild, to break out of that old polite, humble Canucks mold and be Loud and Proud. What do you think? Do you like the prim and proper Canadian celebration or should we be showing more emotion on the podium like many other countries do...You are the WORLDS BEST you deserve to have a self absorbed moment...and I will celebrate it with you by fist pumping in front of my TV...Go Canada Go!!!!

hmmm wtf is a candain??

lol nice spelling CC, perhaps you should should get Lorie to proofread your posts before you submit....

I agree with you CC, which

I agree with you CC, which by the way worries me. It is a big moment let the Canadian atheletes be a little cocky, they have put a lifetime into these moments, let out your emtions, show how excited and happy you are being a gold medalist. Hockey players celebrate everytime they score or win, why not let the indiviual do the same.
