We Can Do It In 2 Minutes

When I tell you it takes a guy just two minutes to do this, I'm sure most of you ladies will go to the dark side...But we can do something else in two minutes or under that we are proud of.
It takes the average man just two minutes to pick out the clothes he is going to wear. In two minutes we have put together the perfect ensemble and are ready to head out the door....So why does it take a woman on average and hour and a half to get ready?...It's not like we surprise you, we will tell you usually two or three days in advance that we are going out and where we are going. We will tell you what the event is and what the dress is, but you never seem to be able to get ready on time.
You will go through six changes of clothes, ten different shoe choices, your hair will be up, then it will be down, ear rings or no ear rings, does this ourfit need accessories and what accessories does it need. You will spend twenty minutes just staring at the clothes in your closet, complaining that you have nothing to wear. Then after an hour and a half it will appear that you are ready and we will go downstairs, grab our coat and be ready to go. We go back upstairs and find you standing in your bra and panties going through your closet picking a whole new outfit because out of the 40 pair of shoes you have you couldn't find the right ones to go with the last outfit you had on!!!!
Then the biggest mistake we make, as men, is to encourage you to maybe hurry as we are going to be late...MISTAKE!!!
Why can't a woman ever be ready on time? Is it a universal plot? How much time should a man give a woman before he begins to gently hint that time is ticking away?

HAHAHAHA CC I think you
HAHAHAHA CC I think you nailed this RIGHT on... I am a woman and I am not afraid to admit that pretty much the EXACT situation you described occurs on a regular basis in my house... Right down to the standing in undergarments after beign ready at least 3 times by now because I can't find the right shoes! The only thing different.... my man knows well enough not to EVER say i'm taking too long! haha
What I don't get is, a woman
What I don't get is, a woman will ask her man "you're actually going to wear that???!!" and we have to change into something that she selects for us. Then they turn around and ask us how they look.
How can we be expected to answer, when obviously we can't even dress ourselves?
Haha. not for my dad...
Me and my mom are probably the quickest people to get ready in the morning. My dad cannot put an outfit together to save his life.
he is the kind of guy who would put a purple shirt together with lime green pants if he was shopping :) i love him but he would not do well without us. :D

p.s. he thought he could wear Harley Davidson Boots together with dress pants...
koo koo
sha la la la la la la la la la, heyyy yaaaa...
tick tick....
the reason it takes men 2 minutes and women take a long time is because...often, (though not always), the women put the perfect outfit out for the man, this takes us time, then of course we have to get ourselves ready after that.
so Mister Wonderful can just grab what is laid out for him already, and bang! he is good to go!
Mrs. Wonderful has had to assemble the man's outfit, feed the kids, let the dog out, make sitter arrangements...etc.
But seriously, if a woman came to the door, with unkept hair, no makeup at all, unshaved pits and legs, and dirty sneakers how many guys would want to take her out in public?
Guys shave just faces... some, not even that. they have short hair... if any at all, a little pit stick, a shirt and jeans, and they are off... women do some sort of bodily hair removal to at least 1/2 of the body, her lovely head of hair is usually more than most men have, and we are not in a wash and wear world... and that doesn't even cover those of us ladies who apply make up.
Look at it this way, if a woman is taking time to be ready to go out with you, it means it matters to her how you see her, and that should be flattering.
