Closet gamer?

So a little while ago we picked up the Wii and Wii Fit and have been playing this ever since we bought it. It’s so addicting!!!! I do have to say that Mars really doesn’t like to share the game if it’s a one player. I think she’s a closet gamer!
Guys, believe it or not there’s a massive increase in female gamers as of late. Around 40% of women are now gamers, keep in mind though it’s not your grandma who’s big on playing, it’s actually women up to the age of 35. It’s so weird too because it used to be a ton of teenage dudes being the big gamers, but it’s actually twice as many women playing the games now.
Here’s some other shocking details I found in this survey,
- 65% of American households play video games.
- one out of four gamers are over age 50
- 41% of North Americans expect to purchase one or more games this year
- 63% of parents believe games are a positive part of their children's lives
Thoughts? Ladies, are you a closet gamers??
EB Games
The EB Games up in Rochdale has always had anything Wii that I have ever wanted whenever I have gone there, including the Wii consoles that every big box store seemed/seems to never ever have.

I have had very good luck at Toys R US!!!!
We decided one day last summer to buy a Wii and I went to 5 differnt store until I decided to call around. First store I call was Toy R Us, they had two in stock. Yesterday my sister texted me ask if I'd call around for Wii fit with balance borad(she lives in a small town and has no access to big box stores to get one). My first calls at one of the bigger store I was laugh at!!! They told me that they are extremly hard to get. So my next call was to Toys R Us, three were in stock!!!!!
WII Fit....
Where did you buy it? I have been combing the city for it and no one seems to every have it, yet I hear from people all over they just walked into a store and bought it. What is the secret to finding these games.....My son also has XBox 360 live and he is so into this....he has made friends all over the world and I listen to him talk and it is great for him to be able to do that. When the California was having floods/forest fires etc. he saw on the news and was very concerned about his friend and started to watch the news for updates...now you tell me what 10 year old cares about the NEWS? I feel that his gaming is the two sided sword....has great things to it and not so great...I think that if it is policed properly then it can be a good thing.
P.S. my son does also go out side and play with his friends and is not overweight.
PPSS...YOu guys are great and I try not to miss your show I really enjoy listening to The Crash and Mars show...makes me feel good.

Hey Jill!
We got our Wii Fit from Future Shop but I had to call them every day for a month to find out when they were recieving another shipment of Wii Fits. They eventually told me at the beginning of the week that they we're releasing them on a Friday. Crash and I lined up at 9am to buy a Wii Fit and we waited inline for an hour. They are tough to come by, I would suggest to keep calling around! :)
