Over-emotional guys.. do they exist?

I just got this great listener email the other day and thought, it’s too great not to share with you. Perhaps many of you can relate to this too, an (over) emotional boyfriend.

Hey Crash, I’m a pretty tough, no-nonsense type of woman and was wondering something about my boyfriend. I haven’t experienced this with other men before but he’s a very emotional guy! I’m not bothered by this yet.. except when we’re having some intimate conversations or if we watch some sappy movies he gets all deep and starts to well up! Is it weird that he’s more emotional than me?

There have been a few things that have caused my waterworks to start pumping more fluids than my past girlfriend’s, movies, tv shows, when someone does something so nice for someone it just tugs at your heart strings. Does that make me less of a man if I occasionally show more emotion than a woman? Am I alone on this?
