Sued Over Bad Dye Job

Last August, a woman named Charlotte Feeney of Stratford, Connecticut (in the southern part of the state, west of New Haven), filed a lawsuit against L'Oreal Cosmetics but you'll never guess WHY.

According to the lawsuit, Charlotte accidentally bought the wrong tube of hair dye from the store and dyed her hair brown instead of blonde.

Have you ever had this happen to you? I did once, but I caught the mistake before I left the store by double checking the tubes in the box (good advice from Mom), and lo and behold the tube numbers didn’t match the numbers on the box.

Well, Charlotte says she's tried dying her hair back to its "natural" blonde color, but it's still brown and she's suffered mental anguish because of the mix-up.

Ok, I’m not sure on the “mental anguish” but I do get upset when my hair colour looks like crap.

Anyway, on Monday, a judge threw out Charlotte's suit, saying she, quote, "submitted no facts, no opinions and no standards to substantiate the allegations.".

Would you sue, or re-dye? Book and emergency appointment to your stylist? Most likely.
