Would You Vote For A Woman?

We’ve all seen the new Conservative Party commercials on tv with Steven Harper promoting his party and self. Well pretty soon expect to see election signs popping up everywhere as Prime Minister Stephen Harper is meeting with the Governor General Sunday morning, and it's expect an election call will come shortly after.
It looks like we'll may be heading to the polls October 14, the day after Thanksgiving.
Our neighbours to the south are in the midst of an election and now we will be too, the big difference though, is that there are no predominant female leader on the Canadian ballots. But there are with the Americans (obviously considering Sarah Palin is now an international celebrity).
Would you vote for a woman leader? Does it even matter?
According to a new survey, American men would vote for a woman before women would. 89% of men say they'd vote for a female presidential candidate while only 81% of women say they would.
Overall, men prefer SARAH PALIN (49%) over HILLARY CLINTON (45%) while women prefer Clinton (57%) over Palin (35%).
This makes so much sense. We as women are always talking about how they need to stick together, girl-power and all that. But at the end of the day, do we even like each other? Is that why we're so catty and mean to each other?
Think about this: Obviously, men prefer Palin because she's hotter than Clinton, but would women admit they prefer Clinton for the exact same reason?
Discuss.

I would vote for a women. I
I would vote for a women. I am a 21 year old female and i have been trying to follow the presidental election over the past year in the u.s.a. I dont care if the candidate running is male or female. I care about how they could make the country better. I live in canada so i cannot vote. I actually have a Hilary is my Homegirl shirt when i was in Washington, D.C This past year. I would not consider myself a republican but i do like Sarah Palin. The media is being ridic to her. Who cares that her daughter is pregant gimmie a break.Who cares. And all this stuff about her being inexperienced, she was a governor,Obama was never one. If McCains vp would have been a man with a teenage daughter there is no way he would be scrutized like this. I think the U.S needs a shakeup so Obama would provide that, but i think Sarah Palin could do some good work as a vp too if Mccain is Pres. It will be interesting.
