5h Annual Preston's Road Race

Preston was diagnosed with Wilms Tumor at age 4 1/2. After having his right kidney removed, he went through radiation treatments and ten months of chemotherapy. At age 7, he relapsed and went through radiation and chemotherapy treatments again until late October of the same year.  Devember 20th, 2002, Preston relapsed again and underwnt extensive chemotherapy treatments in Calgary and Regina. Preston lost his battle with cancer on May 28th, 2004 at home in Estevan, SK.

His family has chosen to continue with the race in his memory, hoping to ease the financial burden of other Saskatchewan families who have been struck by cancer.

So come on out to Wascana Place on May 31st. The cost is $20/Runner, $10/14 and under.
