Mozart. Mahler. Magic

Mozart holds the first half of the evening with the sweet and light Don Giovanni Overture along with the composer’s popular crowd pleaser Concerto for Flute and Harp featuring in the role of Guest Artists, RSO Principals Marie-Noelle Berthelet, flute and Cécile Denis, harp.

The second course offers the meaty Mahler Symphony no. 5 which displays an array of flavours running from dark and heavy to light and fresh – from sonorous funereal march to triumphant conclusion. All in all, an evening that will be mmmmMarvelous!
